If you are thinking about buying the first Sims, i must warn you that itll prove quite expensive. Not only will you end up devoting a large part of your life to creating your sims lives, youll probably end up buying most of the expansion packs. You wont care about losing friends in the real world, youll have your Sims. Your partner has called 7 times wondering where you are today, you wont care because your poor little Sim is having his own relationship problems. Your kitchen burns down, but you can deal with it because your Sims dealt with it only 17 minutes ago and theyre coping fine. it may well become your life. I started out wanting to create the ultimate hellhole for my Sims, destitute, miserable and broken, I couldnt do it, i started feeling sorry for them. i was becoming emotional about the little Sim Graphics on the screen. Thats what this game does to you. Buy it, steal it, borrow it. Youll love it.
